JOIN AS A MEMBER
Become an integral part of the Ghana movement working to advocate for the rights and needs of persons with intellectual disability by becoming an Inclusion Ghana member organisation. Inclusion Ghana depends on you, our members, to undertake activities to reduce stigmatization and ensure full inclusion of all persons with intellectual disability and their families. We are indeed proud of what we have been able to do and we could not have done it without our member organisations!

Inclusion Ghana helps its members in:

  1. Networking: Bringing together members from diverse regions and communities to share knowledge, good practice and experience. Inclusion Ghana promotes and enhances networking opportunities amongst and for all members.
  2. Creating Space and Amplifying Voices: Helping to increase the space for member organisations to be heard and influence the policies and practices of governments and the private sector.
  3. Advancing Awareness of Intellectual Disability Issues:  Increasing knowledge and awareness, primarily through collating and disseminating information on community, regional, national and global issues and trends relating to persons with intellectual disability.
  4. Protecting Rights of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities: Inclusion Ghana monitors threats to persons with intellectual disabilities in Ghana and protects and defends their rights of inclusion and participation in the Ghanaian society.

Member Organisations play an active role in Inclusion Ghana governance through the nomination and election of the Board of Directors. Find out more about being a member and how you can join.

Inclusion Ghana blog has arrived

I am proud to announce the launch of our blog. Hopefully it will be useful in advancing awareness on the level of stigmatization, discrimination and exclusion of persons with intellectual disabilities in Ghana and to ensure that their rights are demanded for.
